Dear Charles!

Thanks for your wishes. We try our best to make OpenOffice.org available
in Tajik. OOo 1.1.5 will shortly be available. This is first effort to
build localized office software in Tajik. Hence I would like to call
Iranian team for collaboration for creating common glossary of terms due
to similarity of languages. We almost speak the same language. I can
read Persian (we use Cyrillic) alphabet so it is not problem for me to
collaborate with Iranian team. I hope and believe these would be of
benefit to all of us.

With best wishes,

Murod

Subject: [native-lang] Tajik Native-Language project announced

The OpenOffice.org community grows on a worldwide scale. Today we are
pleased to announce the opening of the Tajik Native-Lang project
http://tj.openoffice.org), led by Murod Latifov, aka Mircha Bachek. This
project, albeit small in size, is at the vangard of the expansion of
OpenOffice.org in central Asia and expects the contribution of all the
Tajik speakers worlwide.
We wish good luck to Murod and to the Tajik Native-Lang project!

Charles-H. Schulz,
Lead of the Native-Lang
Confederation, OpenOffice.org
