Using UTF-8 flags you need the following command in the preambulum: FLAG UTF-8
I have realized that a lot of the problems I have come in fact from OpenOffice.org, and not from Hunspell. Thanks to Hunmorph I could see that my flags are correct, but in OpenOffice.org some things break. Can you give me some informations about the NEEDAFFIX flags? I need it for incomplete stems to derive words from them. The stems should not be accepted by the spell checker. I have tried to use it in two ways: 1. Define one flag that does nothing, just mark a stem: aff: NEEDAFFIX x dic: stem/x 2. Define another flag twice, once as NEEDAFFIX, once as SFX: aff: NEEDAFFIX A SFX A N 5 SFX A ... dic: stem/A Both does work sometimes, sometimes not. Some stems that marked this way are accepted as correct in OOo, some not. Hunmorph, however, seems never to accepts them, which is good. Is there more documentation anywhere? I have found a very good document at hunspell's sourceforge pages, but it leaves some questions open.
