There is to be a significant event this 23 April in Sweden (Skövde, mostly at the university there, but see below link for more info). As the organizer, Professor Lundell underscored to me in an email, it would be very important and a good sign to have a strong OOo presence there. Participants will include not only representatives from health but also IT managers from many municipalities in Sweden.
Per Eriksson has been working in this area--with municipalities--and he and I (along with Professor Lundell) discussed at the recent fosdem and then in a subsequent phone conversation, procedures for engaging and migrating municipalities over to OOo. But we have not heard from Per more or less since fosdem. He's been quite silent. And he really needs to either help with a presentation on OOo at this event, or work with Professor Lundell and others in the Swedish OOo community, such as Lars Noodén, or the independent entrepreneur Kent Åberg, to ensure that OOo is presented at this event as strongly as possible. It's important for OOo in Sweden.
