Hello, I would like to thank Roderick Young for his input on the Maori language and the general status update he gave us. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'm still somewhat a bit unclear on what needs to be done, and how. So met me rephrase the challenges that need to be dealt with in order to have a Maori native-language project:
1) linguistic issues: Maori is made of several dialects. We in OOo, do not open different project for each dialect. One project can produce several builds that come with different locales if necessary. Would this be a workable solution in the Maori case? 2) organization issues: We have Roddy here, but it's unclear whether he wants to drive this initiative and whether he has the time and human resources to help him with it. What / Who would be needed there?
