 Review comment:
   Transform A is the parent of Transform B if and only if Transform B is 
inserted into the pipeline as the result of 'expanding' CompositeTransform A. 
In short, IR DAG topology is not related to parent-child relationship between 
transforms. It's rather like a sub-dag embeded into a CompositeTransformVertex.
