Hi Nemo (incubating :-) ! I've been following the project since it was Onyx. I love the idea. I was very happy to see a Beam runner.
I thought it would be fun to try to run Beam's "ValidatesRunner" tests using Nemo, so I spent my hours at home this evening getting to know the repository a little, to contribute the necessary pom.xml changes. I got stuck on something that I hope is very simple for you, where I am not launching the jobs properly. I notice that run_beam.sh goes through JobLauncher, while the tests go directly through NemoRunner, but I have not grokked this difference. I opened the pull request at https://github.com/apache/incubator-nemo/pull/182 just to be able to ask about what may be needed. [while I was writing this, I got feedback... thanks!
