Thank you John for the feedback!

It is good to know that it actually worked. And yes we actually shall Sign our NBM-s. Right now that is a kind of gray area, so I'm going to start a thread on the dev list...

This result makes the patch release accepted.
The followup events are:

  * Moving the files from staging to the release area.
  * The the new NBMs will be "overwritten" in the 11.0 release area
  * Wait 24 hours for mirrors to puck up the new files.
  * Update the updates.xml.gz in NetBeans VM
  * Send out announcements.

Thank you, Laszlo. I got the updates this morning for my NetBeans 11.0 snap package on Ubuntu.

Is there a way to avoid the Validation Warning?

  Validation Warning

3 plugins out of 3 require your attention and confirmation before
  installing.

  Third-party Plugins
    Signed and valid (0)
    Self-signed (0)
    Unsigned (3)
      Gradle Java Projects
      Gradle Projects
      Gradle UnitTest Support

Warning: Installing untrusted plugins is potentially insecure.
Use unsigned or untrusted plugins at your own risk.

NetBeans itself is distributed in a trusted manner, so it would be great if we could distribute the plugins that way, too.

Thanks,
John
