I want to install a slightly modified with more verbose error reporting version of nb-javac to my apache netbeans 12 directory.
There are instructions on this page from readme.md: https://github.com/oracle/nb-javac I have successfully cloned and built the jars. The section "Installation/Usage" does not work. The directory netbeans/nbbuild/build/testdist/ does not exist, and therefore neither does the subdirectory netbeans/nbbuild/build/testdist/extralibs/ The directory netbeans/nbbuild/testuserdir does not exist and therefore neither does the subdirectory netbeans/nbbuild/testuserdir/modules/ext/ Since the same libraries are copied to a directory netbeans/java/libs.javacapi/external/ that does exist it is unclear whether these copy commands are necessary. BTW the commands should really be tabbed in to display in the browser better and there are two documentation links below that are broken.
