A couple of questions.
1. The installer worked and placed Netbeans in
/Applications/NetBeans/Apache Netbeans 12.3b1.app. Correct?
2. You were not able to run it from Finder without adding the JDK path
in netbeans.conf?
3. Given your JDK version, I assume you did not use sdkman to install
java. Correct?
4. From a terminal, what is the output to the following commands.
1. /usr/libexec/java_home -V
2. echo $JAVA_HOME
3. launchctl getenv JAVA_HOME
