I've had similar issues which the solution at the time was to wait a little bit (I think there may be some ongoing activity on the box which makes it unavailable to pull from). After a while I try it again and it seems to clear itself out.
I had another case relating to some proxy/certification issues which required adding some CA authorities, but not sure if that's the same here..
