There had been some decent Perl plugins in the past that I used quite extensively for some time, but I can't seem to find them on your list or anywhere else? I'd be open to trying to get Perl language support back up and running.

There are many programming languages that have been dropped from Apache NetBeans, for various reasons. The task is not easy, as there are different technologies (JavaCC, ANTLR, LSP) that these plugins have been written into, and the NetBeans APIs have been changed during time.
