Hi Neil, Yesterday I generated a draft using github standard diffing from tag 15 and tag 14. It's Apache NetBeans 15 (DRAFT). (Same way as I did for others release) Basic steps https://github.com/apache/netbeans/releases Draft New Release Choose tag (15) Apache NetBeans 15 as title Previous tag => 14 Save or publish
Using the drafter could be nicer way but it needs to be more automatic to help making nice sectionning at the end. By ajusting the yaml to see how to handle the label we want. Hi, Following the vote, I moved the main release artefacts to release location, and updated the VM for the update centre. Staged Maven also released. Geertjan - are you OK to handle website updates and announcements once the installer votes are completed and artefacts moved? The NB15 page will need adapting to point Linux users to the zip, Snap or community installers. There is no ASF Linux installer. Also, the NB14 page will need editing to point to the archive for all artefacts. I haven't removed NB14 from dist.a.o yet, as the web links will break if I do. Archive links work already, so as soon as the site is updated and announcement made, I'll archive NB14 and add the announcement to updates.xml.gz. Martin - please note that only the current v15 should still be showing at https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/netbeans/netbeans-vscode-ext/ They need svn rm-ing. Older releases are automatically mirrored to https://archive.apache.org/dist/netbeans/netbeans-vscode-ext/ Eric - is there documentation on how the release notes are created? https://github.com/apache/netbeans/releases I tried triggering and got back info from multiple releases. I assume needs moving out of draft manually?
