last time but it wasn't actioned, and anyway easier with the nightlies
link. I couldn't work out how to mark it as an announcement - seems
we don't have correct permissions? Text OK? Feel free to edit.
We should possibly consider a README on nightlies.a.o too? Warning
about not being an official release, etc.?

great job Neil! I like the RC discussion thread - reduces the barrier to
discover an in-progress release and test it.
