That looks like it could work with a fixed monthly branch date, even if not all get used. The important thing is to have a shared branch date with the IDE in those months that need both. Or to keep the branch dates far enough apart, but I can't see that working with that schedule. It's good to understand that aligning with JDK releases, including CPU, is what is driving the thinking behind this. That still needs agreeing to by the PMC and on this list though.
