If anyone is itching to do website work, I'm sure the front page at 
https://netbeans.apache.org/ could also greatly benefit from some screenshots, 
and perhaps more marketing material of the kind you typically see on landing 
pages for software products [1]. Increased usage of the IDE does tend to make 
the Platform more useful as well.

I just created a draft PR, as I'm fighting spaces (first time
using asciidocs).
