We do sync on ASFslack because many little task (some can be anticipated for website or other small point). The effective build delay is long. (2h) and nobody can help, except rerun on jenkins failure not happens often. --- The "real stuff" where the RM keys are needed is the 2 steps before vote preparation to sign maven/netbeans artefacts/sources/binries before dev dist publish and maven staging. Triaging PR is the most consuming for me on the release date as I'm not aware of every PR content. So hard to say go in or wait next milestone. But release team is still there for me as lots of cross check, little side PR are done.
