Hi NetBeaners, opened drafts for two PRs:
1): "generic project" is new project type which can open any directory as project + some convenient actions. The project can either live in the NB config or use a on-disk marker file (can also toggle between both). 2): API + DirectoryGroup re-implementation via generic projects (API is a single method) 3): design doc with general idea Feedback is appreciated. I think this approach is quite flexible since impl can be swapped out by other projects. Lets try to discuss "big picture" here or below the design issue on github. PRs for the concrete impl review - otherwise it would get very noisy for anyone subscribing to the PRs via mail. timeline wise: I think it would be good to get at least 1) in for NB 33 - but next release could be busy so mvn 3.10 and jdk28 would still have priority over this.
