Relating to this discussion, are there channels we can use to announce our events?
For example, we have NetBeans Day UK coming up on Tuesday, April 25th, in London -- and it would be great if the whole Apache community would be aware of this (free) event, where several Apache projects (e.g., Maven, for example) will be used and highlighted in the context of the tooling that NetBeans provides. Plus, those communities from Apache projects for which there's no tooling in NetBeans could be interested in attending too, to find out how to integrate those into NetBeans. How would we go about reaching out to Apache folks around the world about this, especially for this specific event in the UK?
