Thanks for pointing this out Michael. The logo of siegwerk is very similar to the new netbeans logo at http://netbeans.apache.org and the concept is also pretty widespread in modern designs so you'll also come across many similar logos. I think we should stick to the old logo for a while now. We can improve upon it. We currently don't have a vector graphics version of it, so someone can rework it in SVG or PSD.
