I thought I'd give this a shot using material/flat style:

I made a featherless version as well (I think the feather is a nice
addition tho, even if it's not required):

I used the logo proposal from this page:

Since there is only a png version with a white background, it doesn't
look as crisp as it could be.. insert imagination here.
