I agree with Bertrand on this. If the wiki is build from a git repository and hosted as a static site, there will be no long term committment to a single platform. Consinder that github and Atlassian could decide not to continue their products. Having the site build and hosted on apache hard and software would be an easy solution. And before someone says "github will stay forever", sourceforge used its market value for bad marketing (bundle free software with an malware installing installer) and if enough money is offered, github and co will go down the same way.
