That's the answer I'd liked to get the first time.

But now I have to be contradictory, as I get errors in a platformmodule, too:/home/peter/incubator-netbeans/platform/core.network/src/org/netbeans/core/network/proxy/pac/impl/ClassFilterPacHelpers.java:21:error: package jdk.nashorn.api.scripting does not exist

import jdk.nashorn.api.scripting.ClassFilter;

That's why I guessed it has sth. to do with projectized.xml in my otherpost (Nashorn should be available at least up to JDK 10).

However, in this case the dependency should be removed completely, asNashorn is scheduled for removal in JDK 11 (didn't check JDK 12, yet).

You cannot build NetBeans with a JDK greater than JDK 8.
