+1 I love this form of version,it's simple and straight forward. 0 I'm OK with the minor version number. 0 I know a lot of software is moving to this kind of version number, but as a developer of netbeans, versoin means compatibility, "2019.3" is still confusing, or we can have a inner version numer, just like windows 10 has a 8.1 or 9.0 version number, and they also have 1809 or 1903 for customers.
