Yes, they both are HiveDriver, but they have different package names. In the config you sent, you are using org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver, but I think you need org.apache.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver. That extra 'hadoop' in the package i think is the problem.
