Thank you Joe and thank you for understanding the struggle of a newbie, not many communities are so welcoming and inclusive like Apache NiFi Developer List! :) Yes, you are right posting to a URL endpoint to get a response and put that on Kafka is all I want, do you have any existing out of the box processors you can point me to? I actually wanted to create my own custom processor for my personal benefit and for understanding how to build them, so I probably will try to go ahead with a custom one, but bearing in mind that I can fully exploit out of the box bundles. Am I heading towards the right direction with the code I posted?
