Hi, I reopened the pull request. I'm not very familiar with the code of those processors so I'm not sure I'm well positioned to help with the review. However I'd recommend trying to add unit tests that exhibit the issue and demonstrate that this is solved by your code change. I understand this may not be easy to write as a unit test but would definitely help.
