-1 (binding) First of all, many thanks to you David, for performing the RM duties! Much appreciated. During testing, I decided to run a simple perf test that I often perform during release validation and found the numbers were lower than expected. When I looked into it, I discovered NIFI-11837 [1].
While this is a bit of a corner case, it can have some very significant effects when it is encountered. It’s especially likely to happen when using something like SplitText where a single processor produces a lot of output FlowFiles in a single iteration. I think the performance degradation and associated resource usage is worthy of voting -1.
