What a pity... I understand that such things are important for the first release. But one thing you have to build as a project is to get out releases and manage to publish patch releases too.

BTW Joe, next time change the subject like "[CANCELLED][VOTE] Apache NiFI 0.0.1-incubating (RC2) ..." to keep it clearer. I know that gmail hides a bit the subject, but at least now they allow you to change it.

Folks

The vote for RC2 is canceled.

There is an important code fix which must occur to properly honor sensitive
properties.

Will send out RC3 asap. Thanks to those who validated Rc2.

Sergio,

I followed the pattern of how the Maven PMC operates in pushing the
source release to the Maven repo. It sure is convenient for voters to
find it there, and it's not so bad to then have to copy it to dist.

I've updated NIFI-291 with your findings. Once the vote clears out i'll
want to ask more about your ideas.

Oh, sorry, I missed about NIFI-291 because I went straight to check the
release before readying others' comments. Great idea to track all such
things in an issue!
