Julien Nioche updated NUTCH-848:
--------------------------------
Comment: was deleted
(was: Thanks Julien!
I'm new to nutch and I learned much from reading nutch issues.
I tested in local mode, after adding one of slf4j-nop.jar, slf4j-simple.jar,
slf4j-log4j12.jar, slf4j-jdk14.jar or logback-classic.jar
(This jar file maybe added late through Ivy dependencies)
it run quite smoothly with both commands
bin/nutch crawl urls -solr http://127.0.0.1:8983/solr/ -dir crawl -depth 3
-topN 50
bin/nutch solrindex http://127.0.0.1:8983/solr/ crawl/crawldb crawl/linkdb
crawl/segments/*
Thanks,)

> In a deployed environment with just bin/nutch and the job file on an
> independent Hadoop configuration, a call to 'nutch solrindex' yields :
> {code}
> Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:

> Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:

> Could not find the main class: org.apache.nutch.indexer.solr.SolrIndexer.
> Program will exit.
> {code}
> Surprisingly some tasks work fine, but not this one.
