Hi,
This seems to be a good idea if we consider Fixed Asset Assignments as a way to
manage "how and by whom" a Fixed Asset is used or should be used.
This make it possible to manage more efficiently fixed assets that are not for
manufacturing purposes.
As mentioned by Jacques, some value added problems (from financial transactions
based on fixed assets) exists but they can be managed thru Fixed Asset Products
which stands there for this.
