Hello everyone, I'd like to highlight a valuable contribution from Swapnil Shah <https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/~swash78> to the Apache OFBiz community.
Swapnil created activity diagrams documenting the core manufacturing workflows in Apache OFBiz and published them on the OFBiz Wiki: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/spaces/OFBENDUSER/pages/440303716/Core+Apache+OFBiz+Workflows+for+Manufacturers These diagrams provide a visual representation of the major manufacturing processes and make it much easier to understand how different parts of the manufacturing application work together. I believe this documentation will be useful for: - New developers trying to understand the manufacturing components. - Functional consultants and business users exploring OFBiz capabilities. - Contributors planning enhancements or new features. - Organizations evaluating OFBiz for manufacturing use cases. Visual workflow documentation complements the existing technical documentation and source code by making business processes much easier to follow. Many thanks to Swapnil for taking the time to create and share these diagrams. Contributions like these improve the onboarding experience for new community members and make the project more approachable for everyone. If others are interested, it would be great to see similar workflow diagrams created for other business processes in domains such as Warehousing, 3PL Warehousing, Omnichannel Order Management, and Inventory Management.
