Adrian Crum commented on OFBIZ-1855: ------------------------------------ Hans, I created something similar where I work. I'll share my ideas - you can use them if you want. 1. This page is the one users initially log into. When not logged in, there is a "New User" link next to the Login link which leads to a New User screen - so users can create their own accounts. The New User screen is basically just a UserLogin data entry form. 2. The application contains a "Profile" tab where the user can update their personal information. 3. The initial screen contains a "Message of the Day" section at the top. The MOD section of the screen just displays calendar items that are of type MESSAGE_OF_THE_DAY. Some of them are set up as recurring calendar items so the message can repeat at intervals. One suggestion on your work so far - maybe put some of those screens on other tabs. > Proposal for new specialized component: MyPage? > ----------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFBIZ-1855 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-1855 > Project: OFBiz > Issue Type: New Feature > Affects Versions: SVN trunk > Reporter: Hans Bakker > Assignee: Hans Bakker > Priority: Minor > Fix For: SVN trunk > > Attachments: Screenshot.png > > > I would like to propose a new specialized component which is mainly based on > the party(communications) and project/workeffort manager. > This new component consist in principle out of one page which shows an > overview of what is important to the logged on person and provide links to > the existing components: > 1. email and internal notes > 2. company events > 3. assigned tasks > 4. timesheet > obviously depending on the logged on user other functions can be considered > like incoming customer requests. > I have a first version already developed and would like to know if there are > any objections committing it. > attached is a screen shot of the current version. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online.
