Anil,
I was thinking to a somehow similar feature:
I would like to have entities and UI that let the backoffice user to see the
last item he has visited.
Those could be products, parties, facilities and so on.

Those elements could be shown in a UI (with a little icon that indicates the
element type) with hyperlinks that take to the element.
What do you think? Is this feature equivalent to the one you say or are you
effectively interested to the SEARCHES more than to the VISITED elements?
