It might be better to stick with a self-signed certificate for now. We don't know where these demo servers will be in the future. There are two main options being pursued (as has been discussed on the private list):

1. host on ASF infra controlled by the current infra team and on current or new infra hardware (donated or paid for by donations)

2. host on the box at Contegix which is dedicated to OFBiz hosting (ie nothing else is on it); we would have this officially recognized as infrastructure donated to the ASF and various people in the OFBiz community and on the current infra team would have access to it, though Contegix has been mostly maintaining this and they would continue to help (they currently do this for certain other ASF resources)

In the case of #2 we would probably have ofbiz.apache.org repointed to the box at Contegix, making it the real official infrastructure for the OFBiz web site with content/wiki, demos, issue/task tracking, etc (sooner or later all on OFBiz instead of Jira and Confluence and so on).

Hi,

We don't have certificate(s) for demo or demo40. Contegix says that these sites are using the *.hotwaxmedia.com domain. I think that we should ask the ASF to buy a certificate for us. BTW, I will check to see if the amount reversed to ASF on books sold by Packt Publishing has grown...
