Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-2312:
----------------------------------------

Issue 11

Size of screen and resolution used by default

Adrian's comment on user ML, Hans's comment on user ML. Hans gave an example,
there are tons https://localhost:8443/projectmgr/control/MyTimesheet

Smoothfeather doesn't fit on my screen. That theme won't be usable where I work
because many of our users have their screen resolutions set to 800x600.

When designing themes, keep in mind that back office workers might have poor
eyesight, or may be blind. The developer community put a lot of work into
making the current theme accessible. *If the default theme is changed, maybe we
can market the current theme as the accessible one.*

And I added.
Yes, The default size is too large, you need to have a wide screen to see it
correctly, especially with IE. And there are still a lot of people using
1024*768 resolution in the world
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp
And even using FF3, Chrome Opera or Safari with a wider screen (1680*1050) you
get an issue when looking, for instance, at the Store (the store infos are
wrapped). And I don't speak about having a panel open at left, etc. Also, IMO,
the order view in only one column is not easy to read, YMMV

*Also we may associate recommendations (resolutions, browsers, etc.) with each
theme and show these recommendations in the themes gallery*

> far too mcuh work. So I have created only one issue to list what we find.
> We can create a numbered comment for each issue to separate them and refer
> easily to them whe fixed. Here we go
