Hi Sascha,

I use the lookup layer 2 in a custom application without issues (so far ;o). 
But yes, we lack examples in OFBiz OOTB for now. I have given some clues to 
Bilgin, hopefully he will find enough time to commit an example in OFBiz . Else 
I will provide one, maybe this weekend.

BTW I have launched the replacement campaign, we will certainly cross issues, 
but I'm confident we will quickly get through them.
