Sure, feel free to revert...
But the issue was created on january 12th, and this has been committed
one month after. In the meantime, mails have been sent to the dev list,
asking if there was stuff to test, and how to do it...

Don't forget the classpath... I'm sure you will quickly found a solution
to upgrade the itext lib, and still have birt working !!
