Yes I purposely didn't touch those because I know nothing about debian and how 
tabs to spaces would affect it.

Arguing that these recently introduced files set some sort of precedent when 
we've had shell scripts using spaces and not tabs for quite a number of years 
doesn't really cut it IMO.  I'm sorry that spaces don't jibe with how you like 
to work but you are the one trying to introduce change here, not me.
