How did you upload the account?

I just made this quick test: 
Created a New Party Group with Party Manager (just with Group Name and nothing 
else), added the Role "Account" to this Party and then had a look  at the 
Accounts in the SFA component (with "Contact Mech Type = None") - and the just 
created account was shown in the list.
