Good work! Your patch is commited at r1036633
I have fixed 2 minor possible bugs and fixed the call from ftl template case
(missed parameter="layer" to have a default in all calls)
There are still some error showing in Firebug (and in Chrome js console as
well), not harming it seems, but to be cleaned, pleasee see the screenshot.
Also I will have to test more because I found issues when calling ftl template
from Ajax (no use cases OOTB). But it could be due to my seed data. I was
playing in a custom app and maybe I mucked with them.
