I agree with Sascha, I see not benefits but issues putting something in
hot-deploy OOTB

Not sure that would be very feasible since the goal (I thought) was to have
framework level content support available to all applications... Or are you
talking jackrabbit vs. jcr?

- framework\sql\build\gen-src\javacc
- framework\base\build\gen-src\javacc
execute an ant clean / ant build.
If it's not working something has been not merged correctly from the trunk

the branch.
