Pierre Smits commented on OFBIZ-5299:
-------------------------------------

Hi Jacques,

>From a business point of view it is correct that datetimeReceived is set. The
>goods can be received (as inventory) at a later date and time than
>manufactured. In a single facility setup that would almost be instantly. But,
>suppliers can also provide a manufacturing date (and time).

I hadn't come to adjusting EditInventoryItem. That is part of a bigger
adjustment for our customers in the food and beverages industry. They are
required not only to track lots, but also register datetimeManufactured and an
expire date based on product lifespan. And having to set expiryDate manually on
each inventory item is not only cumbersome, but also error prone.

Also,

> ProudctionRunServices.xml doesn't set dateTimeManufactured in inventoryItem
