Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-3198: ---------------------------------------- Imagine (a world where) you don't have a door number or a path to an apartment (ie, no outside/inside door code/s, floor, direction - right/left or west/east/south/north..., door number, nobody there) but rather an elevation coordinate. Then a delivery man or rather a drone (specific places prepared for them in buildings) could locate a position where to deliver. As I said it's a prospective subject, I'm scifi fan, let's flow your imagination :) (For instance how to validate the reception from a drone if nobody is there, should it return, etc. fun isn'it? But yes nowadays it applies better to warehouse locations... I missed then to add a <field name="geoPointId" type="id"/> and a relation to GeoPoint to FacilityLocation. Seems nobody missed it. It's never too late. Seems also nobofy missed the elevation for PostalAddress and Facility, even elevation for anything maybe. I still like it. > Because of the elevation field in GeoPoint we need a many relationship for > (at least) PostalAddress and Facility > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: OFBIZ-3198 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-3198 > Project: OFBiz > Issue Type: Sub-task > Affects Versions: SVN trunk > Reporter: Jacques Le Roux > Assignee: Jacques Le Roux > Priority: Trivial > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.1.5#6160)
