Mmm, you are right, this was the intention indeed. Anyway, I prefer the new
(and also older actually) way, we don't have to reflect url changes in the UI,
that's developer tricks...

I don't think so, at least the new situation is ok with that aspect as you can
test on trunk demo. The only point is that if you set an arbitrary view size
value in URL it can't be reflected by the UI. I don't care about it, that's
developer tricks.
