Typically, the eCommerce site is maintained by the company implementing the 
marketplace, and that site will probably have its own product category 
taxonomy, so it is unlikely a vendor will be creating/deleting product 
categories. Most likely, the vendor will assign their products to pre-defined 
product categories.

The vendor will have a shipping origin facility, so there needs to be a 
provision for that. Most carriers support having an origin facility that is 
different than the shipper's (account holder) facility. The vendor's shipment 
origin might be an important piece of information for the product display, for 
example: "Product ships from Sydney, Australia."
