Role between the Lot and Party? It does not prevent to do what you want. I
can't see only one reason: have you already coded it like this in your software?

lot id), but others want to have their own lot id AND record the vendor lot id.
Which goes the same way than Adrian, Nicolas and I suggest. On the other hand

It's not quite clear to me where this field would be be added? If it's to the
Lot then you go the same way than Pierre. Could you please clarify?
