This issue has been fixed with the commit r1162302 dated Aug 26, 2011. The
functionality to update user preferences for the party has been removed from
the said screen and instead only a remove option is made available. The fix is
inline with Scotts comment and I agree with his comment about tying preferences
to a userlogin and not a party.
This issue could safely be closed now.
