Hi Jacques,
sorry for not responding. I am currently in a project and did not find the
time to test it entirely. From what I tested right now I do not think that we
have a final solution. For example:
HttpGet httpLogin = new HttpGet(SolrUtil.solrUrl +
"/control/login?USERNAME=admin&PASSWORD=ofbiz");
In the current patch there is the userLogin hardcoded - I don't think that is a
good idea for production environments - but it works.
I wont have much time within the next two month but as I want to provide it as
a service to my customers I will get to it then and provide a solution.
I did not test the previous version - so I do not know if it would be better to
backport. I guess Jinghai will have the answer.
