Hi all,

A major aspect of invoicing sales is setting the correct terms for it. When
a new sales invoice is manually created and it is based on an agreement
(with terms), the terms from the agreement is copied to the invoice.
Likewise, when a sales invoice is based on an order and the order has terms
the terms are copied too.

However, when an invoice is created from time entries approved in a
project, there is no apparent association with either agreement or order
and thus terms terms are not set.

This must then be done at invoice level (in edit mode). But this
functionality is not in current released version, nor in upcoming
release(s). This functionality was introduced in OFBIZ-6865
<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-6865> and has been committed
to trunk.

Can we commit this piece of work also to branch 15.12 and include this in
its upcoming release?
Invoicing is very important and must be done right and when terms can not
be set or edited on invoice level it would seriously hinder adoption. We
should not postpone this to some unplanned future release.

Best regards,

Pierre Smits
