Hi [~carrollsdc999],
your URL looks good, as example this URL call on an OData sample service does
exactly what you want:
http://services.odata.org/V2/OData/(S(4fxfdl4gzxm5vhpa1lkln0vc))/OData.svc/Products?$filter=Rating%20eq%204%20and%20Category/Name%20eq%20%27Food%27
So I will start to check why this error occurs.
For solving this issue it would be very helpful if you could provide the whole
*stack trace* for the occurred error and your *metadata* document.
